I was particularly impressed by the shift in focus towards an aesthetic experience and outcome without compromising the rigour of surgical oncology. The journey of a breast cancer patient is unlikely to ever be easy, but I am certain this journey is much enhanced by the elegant environment, complementary treatments and close collaboration between breast & plasic surgery that the Institute offers. Finally, it is obvious you have a team that is not only highly skilled but who is also very proud to be part of the Institute. This was reflected by the medical, nursing, and administrative staff in their welcoming and warm attitude towards me throughout my visit.
