Recently, while visiting my brother and sister-in-law in Somers, New York, I experienced a medical emergency and was brought to Northern Westchester Hospital.
I am taking this opportunity to tell you that, while I could have done without the emergency, the personnel and medical professionals attending to my care could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. From the time I arrived in the Emergency Room to the time I left the hospital the following day, the doctors and staff personnel were absolutely wonderful in attending to my well-being.
Ann Winkler, 7th floor manager, was very helpful in every way, and I believe that I was indeed fortunate to have "landed" in NWH. Of course, I do not know the names of all those people who were so attentive, but I surely am thankful they were available on the evening of November 11th.
We do have the finest health care system in the world, and I for one hope we do not dismantle it in anyway. With profound thanks.
