    Teddy Bear Clinic at the Emergency Department

    Teddy Bear Clinic - Children anges 3 and up are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to Northern Westchester Hospital's Teddy Bear Clinic. NWH physicians and nurses will give these stuffed animals check-ups and demonstrate casting, suturing, IV therapy, x-rays and more.

    Prepared Childbirth Class Dear parents to be, Come and enjoy a day, with other couples, to get ready for the arrival of your baby. We offer a one day Childbirth Preparation Class which includes an overview of Labor & Delivery, signs & symptoms of labor, early, active and transitional labor, procedures common in labor & delivery, relaxation & breathing techniques, cesarean section, pain medication/ epidural management, and post partum. Also included in this day are birthing videos, and a tour of Labor & Delivery, Nursery and Postpartum. Lunch, snacks and beverages are provided this day. We recommend dressing comfortably. If interested in registering for this class, or for further information, please leave a message on our voicemail (914-666-1292, option #1) and one of our childbirth nurse educators will return your call to help with your registration. The cost of this class is $200 per couple.
