|Optimal Nutrition for Children and Teens||You are definitely what you eat! This discussion will focus on the role of good nutrition in physicial and mntal well-being. Elisa Bremner, RD will discuss the components of a healthy diet, and the links between food and optimal performance in both scholastic and athletic endeavors. She will provide practical tips that will help kids to manage stress, boost energy and enhance brain power. The roles of hydration and vitamins will be covered, as well as the facts and current recommendations regarding sports drinks, energy drinks, caffaiene and protein powders.
This prgram will take place at the Northern Westchester Hospital Conference Center frp, 10 - 11:30 am.

This group held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, provides support to families from pre or post natal diagnosis or pregnancy loss at any stage. |Preparing for Total Joint Replacement Surgery||At the Orthopedic and Spine Institute, we offer presurgery classes for patients undergoing total joint replacement. These classes will help you prepare for your surgery and know what to expect.
