Dr. Michael Rosenberg is new VP of Physician Surgical Services and Assoc. Medical Director
We are very pleased to announce that Michael Rosenberg, MD has accepted the position as Vice President, Physician Surgical Services and Associate Medical Director. He will assume this position on a part-time basis while continuing his active practice in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Rosenberg joined the Medical Staff at Northern Westchester Hospital in 1995, after completing his residency programs in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, both at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and of the American Board of Plastic Surgery in the specialties of Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Rosenberg has demonstrated superb leadership qualities while President of the Medical Society of the State of New York, as an active member of our Hospital’s Board of Trustees for several years, as Chief of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Division, as the Associate Director and most recently Director of the Aesthetic Institute for Surgery and Medicine, and as an active member of several Medical Staff and Hospital committees.
In June of this year, Dr. Rosenberg began serving as the Hospital’s acting Associate Medical Director. During this time he has worked collaboratively with our leadership team, physicians, and staff, impressing all with his thoughtful and insightful approach. We are fortunate that he has accepted this role on a permanent basis. In his new role, Dr. Rosenberg will continue as the Medical Director of the Aesthetic Institute and will provide medical director support of programs and initiatives related to surgical services. In addition, as Associate Medical Director, he will be a an integral part of the Medical Staff, Quality Management, and strategic leadership teams.
