'Tastes of Northern Westchester' Benefit
Mount Kisco's Rotary Club brought major restaurants from the village and beyond together Thursday night for the second annual "Tastes of Northern Westchester" benefit.
The event, held at the Mount Kisco Country Club, supports Northern Westchester Hospital's Community Health Outreach Program (CHOP), which helps improve healthcare access for people who are considered to be underserved, NWH CEO Joel Seligman explained to guests.
Honored at the event was Neighbors Link Executive Director Carola Otero Bracco. The CHOP program, according to a description, benefits the area's Latino immigrant community, which Neighbors Link supports through community service and educational initiatives. Examples of this described include holding medical screenings at Neighbors Link, and having a bilingual patient navigator and nurses.
