Healthy Kids NOW conducts Preschool Nutrition and Physical Activity Study

To our Participating Preschools:

We are pleased to present the results of our survey of nutrition and physical activity in full-day Northern Westchester preschools.  We hope you find the information in this report insightful and helpful as you continue to enhance the wellness environments of your preschools.

Your cooperation and openness made this snapshot of wellness in local preschools possible.  It was a pleasure meeting the members of your staff. You all could not have been more helpful. We particularly enjoyed watching the interaction between your staff and students, and the way the staff encouraged the children to learn, explore, and play.

Our thanks for your letting us include your preschool in our study.  We congratulate you on your commitment to children’s health and making it a cornerstone of your program.
