Our Patient Testimonials
At Northern Westchester Hospital, our success is measured by our patients satisfaction with our services and the care they receive when visiting our medical center. We take great pride in our patients and their courage to overcome physical challenges, from pain management to cancer care and treatment.
While we’re always interested in knowing how we’re doing in serving our community, what’s most important is how our patients are doing following their diagnosis and treatment in our facilities.

A simple thank you to the nursing staff is not enough to express my gratitude for all of their care, comfort and competency. I keep telling all who will listen about how wonderful the entire staff was. They made my post-op hospital stay effortless and enjoyable. Special thanks to Debbie, Pam, Joy, Lisa, and Liz!!!
I wanted to express my sincerest thanks and gratitude to Laurie in Labor and Delivery who was so amazing and supportive during the delivery of my twin boys. I first met Laurie on a snowy Friday evening when I was sent to be monitored for high blood pressure, she was so sweet and an amazing nurse and put me at ease during my visit. Three days later I was sent from the Dr's office to deliver my twins, a few weeks early, and was mentally not quiet ready for their arrival. As soon as I walked into Labor and Delivery, by myself (as my csection was scheduled for two weeks later and my husband was at work in manhattan), Laurie was sitting at the nurses desk with a big smile on her face asking me if I was ready to become a Mommy that night. As my husband was on a train trying to get to the hospital as quickly as he could, Laurie made me feel at ease and assured me that if he wasnt able to arrive in time for their arrival I would be just fine. I felt like one of my best friends was in the room with me, and I can't thank her enough for being so kind and relaxed. She held my hand as i got the spinal tap and was the first to announce the genders of our twins once they were born, which we had been keeping a surprise. I will be forever greatful for the care that Laurie, and all the wonderful Labor and Delivery nurses who were on that night (March 23, I wish i could remember each of your names), I truly had the best experience delivering my twins at Northern Westchester because of each and everyone of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
A very big thank you to the wonderful team of nursery nurses, particularly Marianne, Ana, Marice and Sharon. What a special team you have assembled! Thank you for the loving care you provided for our daughter. You will always have a special place in our minds and hearts.
I had to go in to have a pregnancy terminated because it was an ectopic preganancy and the nurses at NWH were very kind to me. I had not gotten pregnant before and it's very easy to go through the motions. I was by myself because my husband was on a business trip and the 3 nurses on staff that day really helped me and made me feel like I was not by myself. I am ever so grateful to you and how kind you were to me during this difficult time. It's so comforting to know that someone cares and knows how terrible it is to be all by yourself during that time. May god bless all of you and the wonderful work that you do for patients.
