Our Patient Testimonials
At Northern Westchester Hospital, our success is measured by our patients satisfaction with our services and the care they receive when visiting our medical center. We take great pride in our patients and their courage to overcome physical challenges, from pain management to cancer care and treatment.
While we’re always interested in knowing how we’re doing in serving our community, what’s most important is how our patients are doing following their diagnosis and treatment in our facilities.

The Breast Institute
We are filled with relief and so much gratitude for the love and support we have received over the past six months. What an important reminder that none of us have to go through anything difficult alone. I can honestly say that I have never experienced such an amazing collaboration of doctors, nurses, healers, and caregivers in one place.
Unfortunately due to all the medications at the time I can't remember the nurse's name and possibly she may still not be in your employ (I had surgery for breast cancer and was a patient from 8/14/09 to 8/17/09.) nevertheless, I will always remember her kindness and the good care I received from her.
We are filled with relief and so much gratitude for the love and support we have received over the past six months. What an important reminder that none of us have to go through anything difficult alone. I can honestly say that I have never experienced such an amazing collaboration of doctors, nurses, healers, and caregivers in one place. I know that Tammy's extraordinary recovery is at least in part the result of the nurturance and top notch care she received at NWH, from the moment we walked through the door to her final exit from the hospital a few days later. As her partner, I was also impressed by the attention paid to myself and our children to ensure that all of our feelings and concerns were meaningfully addressed throughout this difficult process.
I was particularly impressed by the shift in focus towards an aesthetic experience and outcome without compromising the rigour of surgical oncology. The journey of a breast cancer patient is unlikely to ever be easy, but I am certain this journey is much enhanced by the elegant environment, complementary treatments and close collaboration between breast & plasic surgery that the Institute offers. Finally, it is obvious you have a team that is not only highly skilled but who is also very proud to be part of the Institute. This was reflected by the medical, nursing, and administrative staff in their welcoming and warm attitude towards me throughout my visit.
