Meditation Room at NWH is Renovated with Beautiful ResultsJuly 19, 2017
Thanks to the generosity of NWH Board Chair Nancy Karch and NWH supporters Kamran and Ellen Hakim, NWH has a newly renovated Meditation Room – a serene space that welcomes all staff and visitors.
Find the Meditation Room in the main lobby of the Wallace Pavilion at Northern Westchester Hospital, opposite the gift shop. It's the first door on the left as you enter the Hospital.
Fifteen-minute guided meditation sessions are held at 12:15 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. If you can’t make these sessions, listen to guided imagery audio recordings from home or anywhere in the Hospital! We also offer healing prayer on Wednesdays 12:30 to 1:00pm.
In addition to almost-daily meditation sessions, the Meditation Room is used as an oasis for visitors who want a quiet sanctuary where they can spend time in quiet reflection. Visitors may engage in their own spiritual practice, bringing mindfulness to help calm and center them in trying times.
Please come visit the Meditation Room!
