All not-for-profit hospitals in New York State submit a community service plan to the Department of Health annually.
This report is a summary of Northern Westchester Hospital’s community service initiatives, plans for program development and collaboration with local healthcare providers and community partners to address New York State’s Prevention Agenda priorities. NWH’s public health efforts support the overall goals of the Department of Health which are to focus on primary/secondary disease prevention, promote access to quality health care services and eliminate health care disparities where they exist.
